Anti-Cancer Lifestyle Program
The Farrah Fawcett Foundation is committed to promoting awareness and cancer prevention.
The foundation is supporting a new initiative based on the book, Anticancer-A New Way of Life by David Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhD. The Anticancer Lifestyle Program has been developed by the staff at the Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care (Concord, NH) and is designed to educate cancer survivors on prevention strategies, specific to adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors. Evidence exists that a healthy diet, adequate physical activity, lowered exposure to toxins, social support, and stress management all help to maximize the body’s natural defenses against cancer.
